1. Who we are

This website is run by DataBates LLC, an Oklahoma limited liability company ("DataBates," "we," "us"). You can reach us at hello@databates.us.

2. Using the site means you agree

By using databates.us you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

3. The site is information, not an offer

The site describes what we build. Nothing on it is a quote, a contract or a promise of a result. Prices and terms come in a written quote, and our work is governed by the agreements you and we sign. If the site and a signed agreement differ, the signed agreement controls.

4. Not a CPA firm, and not professional advice

DataBates LLC is not a certified public accounting firm and does not practice public accounting. Nothing on this site is an audit, a review, a compilation, an attest service, tax return preparation or legal advice, and nothing here should be relied on as one.

5. Requests you send us

The request form asks for business contact details and a short description of your problem. Please send only what it asks for. Do not send client names, client data, tax information or anything confidential through the site. Sending a request does not make you a client. We take on obligations to you only in a signed agreement. How we handle what you send is in our Privacy Notice.

6. The demo

The tracker demo and its screenshots use made-up data. Any likeness to a real firm, client or person is a coincidence. The demo shows the kind of tool we build. It is not a commitment about what a particular tool will include.

7. Our content

The text, design, screenshots and demo on this site, and the DataBates name and wordmark, belong to DataBates. You may view the site and share links to it. You may not copy, republish or build on its content, or use our name in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission. Tools we deliver to clients are covered by our License Terms, not by these terms.

8. Fair use of the site

Do not probe or break the site's security, copy it in bulk by automated means, send spam or false information through the form, interfere with how the site works, or use it to break the law.

9. Links to other sites

The site links to sites we do not control, such as LinkedIn. We are not responsible for them.

10. No warranty for the site

We try to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided as it is. We do not promise that it is free of errors or always online. This section is about the website only. What we promise about our work is in your signed agreements.

11. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, DataBates is not liable for indirect or consequential losses that come from using the site, and our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to US $100. This does not change what a signed agreement says about our work.

12. Governing law

Oklahoma law governs these terms. Any dispute about the site goes to the state or federal courts located in Oklahoma.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.
